We Miss You Both!

I remember that Uncle liked Country Western Songs.  These were a couple of his favorites.

Debbie I. Lang remembers:

'Uncle was really special.  He LOVED his family and nieces and nephews.  He was strict, but he laughed a lot, and it was fun being around him.  He got married late in life. He really loved Auntie Nadine a lot. She accepted Uncle's family as her own.  Auntie Nadine was a character, too. She would always say she was from ArKANSAS!  When she passed on, he never remarried.'

Sonja Arquilada remembers:

As a kid, I answered someone with  the word 'What'!  Uncle Wala was there, and immediately came up to me and told me NEVER to answer with 'What'!, but 'YES'.  I have been teaching my nieces and nephews to always say 'YES', when someone calls them, as a result of Uncle's admonishment.
